Established in 2005, The Independent Baseball Umpires Association provides umpires to The Philadelphia Phillies Spring Training Camp, Independent Professional Baseball, NCAA Division I, II, and III Collegiate Baseball, as well as Amateur Baseball.

Founder and National Umpire Coordinator Lou Acello is a veteran professional umpire who also umpires and assigns all levels of NCAA collegiate baseball.  Lou has umpired Professional Championship Series, NCAA Division II Regional Championships, and several NCAA Conference Championship Series. 

Northeast Umpire Coordinator Bill "The Greek" Exaros has umpired Professional Baseball and all levels of NCAA collegiate baseball.  Bill has umpired NCAA Division II Regional Championships, and several NCAA Conference Championship Series. 

Southeast Umpire Coordinator Steve Weisher has umpired all levels of professional and collegiate baseball in the northeast and southeast. He has worked numerous state and regional championships in various levels of amateur baseball..

In addition to providing professionally trained umpires, The Independent Baseball Umpires Association conducts camps and clinics for it's members, and provides umpire training and instruction upon request.
